Porto Tram City Tour
Board the historical tramway of Porto, symbol of the city!
Its history dates back to 1872 when the first line of "American cars" was opened in the city of Porto. The tram network currently consists of 3 different lines that cross the most emblematic monuments of Porto.
Line 1:
The Riverside line connecting the historic city center of Porto to the Passeio Alegre garden offering a unique route along the banks of the Douro.
Starting point :
- Infante and Passeio Alegre
- October to March (Monday to Friday): between 09:45 to 17:45.
- April to September (Monday to Friday): between 9:30 a.m. to 8:20 p.m.
- October to March (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays): between 09:45 to 17:45.
- April to September (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays): between 09:30 to 20:55.
Frequency:
- 30 minutes.
- Weekends and holidays: 1 hour until 12:45.
Line 18:
The Restauração line, operates between Massarelos and Carmo on a road connecting the historic area of the parish of Massarelos to the Cordoaria garden and the surrounding area.
Starting point :
- Massarelos.
- October to March: between 08:18 to 18:48.
- April to September: between 8:03 a.m. and 6:03 p.m.
Frequency:
- 30 minutes
Line 22:
The downtown line running through the most famous downtown streets of Porto on a circular route between Carmo and the funicular and elevator of Batalha / Guindais.

- April to September: between 09:15 to 19:15.
